Build the house with us.

Haus is a small team running a pre-seed fund and the Biopunk accelerator behind it — houses, labs, and a community. These are the roles we’re hiring for now.

Community Architect

San Francisco · Full-time, live-in

Own end-to-end house operations — logistics, vendors, safety, and the systems that make shared living frictionless.
Run the full resident lifecycle: sourcing and vetting applicants, onboarding, and offboarding.
Design and execute the calendar of dinners, salons, workshops, and demos that create cross-pollination.
Connect the house to the wider Haus ecosystem — events, lab, fund, and network — and surface investment-relevant signals.
Steward the norms, rituals, and culture that make the house worth belonging to.

Compensation is founder-adjacent: full room and board, carry in the companies you shepherd, and cash comp tied to sponsorship you bring in. Reports directly to the Haus Fund partners.

Sponsorship Coordinator

Non-exclusive · Contract

Prospect and qualify sponsors aligned with the target categories — platform, capital, and ecosystem partners.
Run outreach, discovery conversations, and pitches using approved materials and pricing.
Develop deals: negotiate sponsorship structure, value, and terms within approved parameters, then facilitate closing.
Keep the pipeline current in the CRM, report at least monthly, and hand closed sponsors cleanly to the team for fulfillment.

Non-exclusive independent contractor. Sponsorships fund the Biopunk program’s operating costs; cash compensation scales with what you close. No authority to bind the company.

Events Lead

San Francisco · Contract

Own the calendar of in-person Haus surfaces — Demo Days, Midpoint Pitches, and the weekly founder dinners.
Produce the SF Biohackathon (annual, 250+), the monthly Wetware Meetup, and Kill-Your-Baby sessions.
Run partner-facing roadshows and sponsor-led roundtables.
Make the houses feel like a movement, not a co-working space.

Independent contractor, twelve-month term.

House Manager

Per house · Contract

Run the physical surface of a house — cohort move-in and move-out, keys, welcome kits, orientation.
Manage lab supplies and BSL-1/2 safety in coordination with the on-site lab lead.
Coordinate building maintenance, vendors, and the weekly Tuesday dinner.
Be the resident liaison — housing issues, conflict mediation, escalation to the Community Architect.
Own security and access — key cards, after-hours protocol, and guest-policy enforcement.

One per house, twelve-month term — the difference between co-living and a community.

Operations Manager

San Francisco · Full-time

Run the day-to-day machinery of the operating company — bookkeeping, AP/AR, monthly close, board financials.
Manage banking and payments — accounts, card spend, vendor payments, founder SAFE wires.
Own vendor management and compliance — legal, insurance, payroll, state filings, K-1s.
Keep the operating-company / fund interface clean: program costs in Biopunk Ventures, investments through Haus Ventures Fund.

Full-time. Reports to the General Partner and works alongside the Community Architect.

Media Lead

Remote · Contract

Own Haus's public voice — social, newsletter, press, and founder stories.
Ship the newsletter twice a month with a founder spotlight in every issue; post 4–6× a week on X and LinkedIn and amplify residents daily.
Run Instagram in a documentary register, a weekly Discord digest, and at least one founder-led video per cohort.
Handle press and media relations for partnership announcements, and hold the brand line across every Haus surface.

Venture Scout

Remote · Network role

Find breakthrough biotech founders pre-incorporation — the ones hidden in labs, PhD programs, Discord servers, and community-bio spaces.
Submit prospects through the Scout Portal before any other channel logs them — first touch, with the founder’s consent to be contacted.
Include the basics: name, contact, scientific area, affiliation, and your basis of relationship; the GP confirms first-touch status within five business days.
Earn scout carry on the investments your referrals become, per the Venture Scout Agreement.

A network role, not a salaried one — a 24-month engagement for connectors who already know where the next founders are hiding.
