Elliot Roth is a biotech founder, venture capitalist, and community builder. Roth founded Spira, which grew carbon-negative materials from engineered algae across a network of farms, and ran the agriculture venture portfolio at Deep Science Ventures. Along the way I started three independent laboratories — IndieLab RVA, Biopunk Society and Cellsius — plus eight companies and four nonprofits, across twelve years of synthetic biology and a degree in biomedical engineering. Roxana Grunenwald is a deep tech investor, community builder, and climate innovation leader. She is currently a Partner at Dorm Room Fund, where she focuses on investing in ambitious student founders. Grunenwald is also the founder of H*QUOTIENT.
